WIN with StereoNET and Audio Fidelity

Love your prog-rock, handy with a quill? Then this little one is for you.

“A seasoned witch could call you from the depths of your disgrace

And rearrange your liver to the solid mental grace

And achieve it all with music that came quickly from afar

And taste the fruit of man recorded losing all against the hour

And assessing points to nowhere, leading every single one

A dewdrop can exalt us like the music of the sun

And take away the plain in which we move

And choose the course you're running

Down at the end, round by the corner

Not right away, not right away

Close to the edge, down by a river

Not right away, not right away”

YES- ” CLOSE TO THE EDGE” Lyrics- Jon Anderson.

Such wise words can only pose two important questions:

  1. Jon WTF, and
  2. What are you smoking, can I have some too?

As a tribute to the lyrical wanderings of everyones favourite 'pixie on a mushroom', StereoNET has a sealed, numbered edition of the recent AUDIO FIDELITY release “OLIAS OF SUNHILLOW” by Mr. Anderson himself, to give away.

Open to registered members only, all you have to do is consult with your own chosen Muse, pick up your quill and write a Progrock lyric in the classic style. It should have at least three but no more than ninety verses, and a good chorus.

Special regard will be given to lyrics with the recommended levels of pomposity, grandiosity, tautology, and industrial strength whimsy required by the genre. Inscrutability will be well regarded.

The winner chosen, by yours truly (Zen Mister), will be announced on June 28th via the following link.

Bribes and inducements can be forwarded by the usual channels.
