TWO DAYS OF AUDIOPHILE BLISS AT AUDIO REFERENCE THIS MONTH

Audio Reference, one of Auckland's premier specialist Hi-Fi outlets are holding a weekend sure to please the senses of audiophiles September 15th - 16th.
Located in Devonport, Auckland, Audio Reference will feature systems comprising some of the world's best brands including Wilson Benesch (UK), Luxman (Japan), MSB Technology (USA), MIT Cables (USA), Kirmus (USA), Antipodes Audio (NZ) and Vicoustic (Portugal).
From the finest speakers, electronics including streamers, amplifiers and DACs, through to accessories including cables, acoustic treatment and record cleaning machines, owner Terry Humphries is throwing open the doors across the two days.
An array of exclusive specials will be available to those in attendance, along with reps from brands and distributors onhand to answer any technical questions.
Terry Humphries told StereoNET:
At Audio Reference I’m justifiably proud of the brands we are privileged to represent but always looking to stay abreast of a somewhat crowded market to be able to offer clients that special and unique experience.
Since the move to our new Devonport showroom I’ve spent the last 18 months discussing with colleagues and going to international shows seeking products to update and help to complete our brand/product portfolio based around customers expectations and I would like to invite you to visit our second open weekend at the new showroom.
Of particular interes twill be Wilson Benesch's A.C.T ONE EVO floorstanding speakers ($39,995), combined with a stack of Luxman gear including the C-900u Preamplifier ($20,995) and M-900u Power Amplifier ($20,995). Coming in with high-end sound and a price point to match, MSB's Reference DAC ($67,995) will also be a highlight. Attracting global press has been Kirmus' ultrasonic record cleaner ($1,995), now regarded by many as very possibly the best on the market. Bring a record in and get a hands-on demo.
The whole range of New Zealand's own Antipodes Audio streaming products will also be on display and working demo, and finally, keeping the room acoustics in check will be an assortment of Portugal's Vicoustic panels.
The event takes place across both Saturday 15th September to 16th September, from 10AM to 4PM. Audio Reference is located at 2/25A Lake Road, Devonport, Auckland.
