SOUND & VISION Festival - Yamaha

What can you expect to see from Yamaha at the upcoming SOUND & VISION Festival at AudioTrends, Melbourne May 29th - 31st?

Yamaha will present the latest in Home Theatre technology at the upcoming festival. Those in attendance will be given the opportunity to audition Yamaha’s premier range of AV Receivers, AVENTAGE, which adds next-generation technologies to an already accomplished and award-winning line of AV Receivers.

The flagship RX-A3040 and RX-A2040 models support the new Dolby Atmos format, while also featuring the latest HDMI® standard and wireless network connectivity – marking an exciting new chapter for the award-winning series.

With Dolby Atmos, sound comes alive from all directions, including overhead, to fill the home theatre with astonishing clarity, power, detail and depth.

To ensure peak video performance, all AVENTAGE models offer video upconversion to 4K Ultra HD 60p with Yamaha proprietary video processing technologies, and the latest HDMI format supported on all models with 4K 50/60p and 4:4:4 chroma subsampling capability.

Wireless network connectivity is built-in for seamless access to online music sources such as Pandora®, Spotify Connect and vTuner music streaming services. Consumers can also enjoy music from AirPlay® and HTC Connect™ compatible devices on all models within the AVENTAGE AV Receiver range.

Advanced HDMI multi-zone switching further enables all input sources to be output via HDMI for enjoyment in different areas of the home. YPAO R.S.C. (Reflected Sound Control) with multipoint and angle measurement adjusts for imperfect acoustic conditions and non-standard speaker configurations for professional-quality calibration in any room.

Yamaha’s AV Product Manager, Damien Henderson, will be presenting multiple sessions over the course of the SOUND & VISION Festival with active demonstrations of AVENTAGE and Dolby Atmos.
