HARMAN KARDON ANNOUNCES CITATION SERIES

Coming soon from Harman Kardon is its new and stylish Citation Series designed as a modular audio system depending on your audio and lifestyle demands.

The series includes Citation One, Citation 100, Citation 300, Citation 500, Citation Bar, Citation Sub, Citation Surround and Citation Tower.

Combining an innovative acoustic design that the company says delivers remarkable audio quality with cutting-edge technologies - including the Google Assistant, a high-resolution LCD touch screen and Chromecast built-in - the Citation Series is said to represent the next generation of home speakers.

Discreet Scandinavian design combined with our finest Innovative technology in the new Harman Kardon Citation Series, offering the discerning listener the best in home audio and entertainment systems.

The speakers feature the brand’s signature industrial design accented with thoughtful elements, including elegant aluminium detailing. Bringing the refined and sleek look together is the Winter Gray or Classic Black wool fabric from Kvadrat, the European leader in acoustic textiles, that are dirt-repellant and flame-retardant.

All products in the range are 24bit/96kHz capable, with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and the Bar soundbar features 3 x HDMI inputs.

The Citation Series allows you to use the speakers individually or build a powerful 5.1-channel surround sound system. There is also the ability for multi-room audio playing from one music source or playing different tracks in different rooms.

Harman Kardon Citation speakers also have Chromecast built-in, allowing access to over 300 audio and video streaming services. Once connected on the same Wi-Fi network as a Citation speaker, a smartphone, tablet or laptop can “cast” the latest chart-topping release or playlist from Chromecast-compatible apps.

Australian and New Zealand pricing and availability have not yet been confirmed, but overseas the range starts at €199 for the One Tabletop speaker, up to €2,499 for the Tower floor standing speakers.
