wolster
David, here's a tip. When I was in Sydney in July, I spoke to a record dealer at a weekend market. He told me that the best place in Australia to buy records was wait for it.... MELBOURNE! :o Cheers wolster
jt301
JB HiFi (in QVB) and Red Eye records are the only 2 stores I know of in the City that sell vinyl. Red eye have 2 locations, one for new LPs, one for second hand. See there website http://www.redeye.com.au/ for addresses. I'd be interested to know of any others. Westie
Try Fish records http://www.fishfinemusic.com.au/ Lots of classical listed, dont know how much vinyl they have. Redeye is mainly rock/punk/indie etc vinyl.Unless you need 'classic' metal....
Guest Muon
If you can get to Newtown, Egg has a store there. Very large selection, I believe. http://www.eggrecords.com.au/about/sydney-store
Guest guru
If you can get to Newtown, Egg has a store there. Very large selection, I believe.http://www.eggrecords.com.au/about/sydney-store if its classical vinyl you are after, egg only has rubbish, readers digest and digital dg. ashwoods opposite qvb, generally low grade but sometimes some good stuff. audio connection has a large collection of classical that they are disposing of for a client,he had probably 20000 records, don't know whats left, maybe give them a call. i remember a time when they disposed of one collection of 100000 records and i spent 2 weeks sorting out the records into values and collectability.i ended up with about 120 for my trouble but they were bloody good records. regards,g.
