VAF STRIKES THE RIGHT CHORD, 14TH FEB 2019
UK's Chord Electronics is setting benchmarks in digital audio performance for nearly a decade, and its latest releases are set to continue that trend.
See and hear Chord's latest DAC's including the new HUGO TT-2. Based on the multi-award winning Hugo 2, the Hugo TT-2 is bigger, better and more advanced in every way. Combined with the matching Hugo M Scaler using the world's most advanced digital filtering, the M Scaler can also be connected to Chords Qutest DAC, which will also be available for demonstration.
Chord's already legendary DAVE DAC, BLU2 CD Player and the brand new matching Etude amplifier will be ready for an audition. The new matching Etude uses technology derived from the Aerospace industry. Featuring newly advanced topology and a multi-feedback, dual feed-forward error-correction circuit controlling 250-watt lateral structure high-power proprietary MOSFETs in the power stage, this is an amplifier you must hear.
Chord Electronics' Robert Wong will be present to answer any questions, along with representatives from Radiance AV, the Australian distributor.
Aside from Chord's latest products, VAF's new range of speakers including the new Magnesium/Alloy coaxial speaker, connected to the Chord TT stack will be available for audition.
In typical VAF tradition, the night will be relaxed and informal, and some food and drinks will be provided.
You're also welcome to bring along any music content you like as well. The evening will take place on Thursday 14th February 2019 at VAF Research, 54 North Terrace, Kent Town, SA 5067. Kick off is at 6:00 PM and you will need to reserve your free spot by registering on the page at Eventbrite.
Make Chord Electronics your Valentine this year!
