Two events next month will highlight current trends in hi-fi with nights in Victoria, and Western Australia themed around “Streaming Music Done Correctly”.

Bjorn Bengtsson, Nordost's Swedish technical guru, will be on hand to demonstrate digital music streaming and how important it is to ensure that the signal path is kept as clean, and intact as possible.

Part of the evening's presentation will feature an Australian-first demonstration of the Nordost QSource Linear Power Supply ($4,295 RRP). The fanless Linear Power Supply has been designed specifically for hi-fi audio applications.

It provides a stable, clean output of DC power at select voltages, while maintaining extremely low noise levels, and is said to “enhance the audio imagery of a sound system by improving sonic articulation, heightening dynamics, and expanding the sound stage.”

Also showcased will be Nordost's QPoint Resonance Synchronizer ($1,295 RRP), which emits a subtle field and is said to manipulate all electromechanical resonances within its immediate proximity, so that they resonate in unison with each other.

It's suited to all type of hi-fi electronics including but not limited to solid-state or tube amplifiers, digital or analog source components, traditional line stages or modern digital processors, and more.

Enjoy a demonstration and get hands-on with Bjorn's inciteful and fascinating presentations at either of the two events below. Numbers are strictly limited, so ensure you book a free spot via the provided Eventbrite links.

Food and drinks will be offered on the night.
